Re: Humus

This is very interesting.
But also very complex.

It stats to be a lot for a simple game that is main purpose is to be fun.

Re: Humus

Yes, dirt and humus can be see as similar things. I'm still not too sure how to implement the biome division (see Sand topics) . And yes, I'm currently very busy working on structure. And, maybe we an also use structure to divide biome. And special magical fence that prevent plant from spreading. Bu...

Re: Sand

I understand your point. Sand can be a good addition. But it would required a lot of re-balancing on everything. You can also use plain rock to divide biome. But usually we want to do a smooth transition, only certain type of plants should be blocked. Other player are requesting a way to divide biom...

Actually, what's the difference between pines and firs anyways?
Pine and Fir are very similar.
Fir is bigger and lives a little longer.
The visual is different, but requirement wise, almost the same.

But, I know I still have some balancing issue. I would prefer to have a balance between plant, to avoid one plant that rule them out. But, in pr...

Re: More food sources, and introverted prey

The hide-behind-bush is a really interesting suggestion. It can also balance the predator who-kill-them-all issue. I like it a lot.... 8-) But, unfortunately for me, it implies a lot of coding. Also, even if the animals is hidden, the player most be able to see it. Otherwise all the animals w...

Next Release (1.16)

The next release (1.16), scheduled somewhere in August, will include 2 new animals.
- The Chicken (free)
- The Duck (locked)

I had a lot of fun coding them. :D
Both have some special behavior. Check them out.
