How do I maintain spirits and keep them alive and healthy ty, also are there any other secret creatures that you cannot place yourself

You don't have any direct control over the spirit.
They just appear when you have a nice forest, nothing else do to.
Sometime they go, but they will be replace if all the conditions are in place.
As for other secret creatures.... this is a secret

Awww, you modeled your spirits after Princess Mononoke. Those tree spirits have been my favorite for a very long time.

The condition for the Spirit to appears is simply based on the score of your world.
The higher your score, the more Spirits you will have.

What do the Spirits eat? One of my Spirits said that it didn't have enough food, but I don't know what it eats. Also, I just wanted to say, I love the game so much.
